Every quilt at Hidden Cabin Quilts is crafted by none other than award winning quilter Jan Andersen. Jan stitched her very first quilt back in 1974 for the bicentennial, using nothing but her hands, patience, and a love for the craft. While many of her early works were hand quilted, today she uses a Gammill Premier, a trusty machine she bought in 2004. Now, don’t be fooled by its simplicity, this is no fancy computer controlled setup. Every single stitch is freehand, guided by Jan's experienced hands and creative instincts. It's like drawing with thread, only there's no "undo" button!
